Medical notes said BECI had a medication-assisted treatment program in partnership with DRC and the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, with 20 incarcerated adults in the program.

Recreation included basketball leagues, weight lifting with new equipment, arts and crafts, a music room with production capability, an outdoor recreation area, and a softball field. The library and law library were described as newly renovated, clean, and organized, with LexisNexis and Ohio Means Jobs support for reentry resumes. The normalcy unit requires an application, six months without conduct reports, and jobs-program participation, and includes programs such as responsible fatherhood and life skills.
